HT Cho is the Co-founder of HTC and currently sits on the Board of Directors. HT is the Chairman and Founder of the HTC Foundation, a philanthropic organization that supports and promotes a number of programs in education, character development and cross-cultural awareness. By helping educators, parents, students and public officials focus on character building, the HTC Foundation hopes to build caring communities where strong values, teamwork and positive thinking can flourish.
To date, the Foundation has funded leadership training courses for over 13,000 elementary, secondary and post-secondary teachers and administrators in Taiwan. The Foundation has been recognized by Yuli Township in Hualien County in December 2006 and Longtan Township in Taoyuan County in June 2007 for promoting “Township Character” plans. These plans promote character development for officials working in township offices, police stations, public hospitals, fire brigades and other public sector positions.

Prior to dedicating himself to the HTC Foundation, HT served as President of HTC from 1997 to 2004 and was CEO from 2004 to 2005. His hard work, dedication, and passion for excellence have helped HTC form a corporate culture and work environment that emphasizes integrity, innovation and quality.
