Announcement for the disposal of land and building in Taoyuan

Land : A parcel of land located in Dashulin Section of Taoyuan City, and 23 lots of land located in Fengfu Section, Yingge District, New Taipei City.
Building: No.88 Dazhi Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City

Based on total transaction price of NT$6.06 billion, and after deduction of taxes and other related transaction costs, gain of this disposal is expected to be

China Prudence Real Estate Appraisers Firm and Tian-Yi Real Estate Appraisers Firm have valued the property at NTD 6,655,853,567 and NTD 6,160,112,973 respectively.

As part of an asset rationalization exercise to centralize our production facilities and improve operating efficiency, HTC will move all our production lines in TY5 building 
to existing buildings at our Taoyuan site. All employees will be relocated to other buildings too.
